Magnesium Chloride is a white powder, soluble in water and alcohol. CAS#7786-30-3. It is a source of magnesium.
Usage:
As a Mineral Supplement, it is used to prevent and treat low amounts of magnesium in the blood.
In Medicine, magnesium chloride can be used as anti-acid, to relieve heatburn, sour stomach, or acid indigestion. It also can be used as laxative for short-term, rapid emptying of the bowel.
In Food, it can be use in Tofu, as coagulant agent, helps liquid forms of soy to solidify into tofu.
