Sodium Metabisulfite

Characters: It is white or yellow crystalline powder or small crystal, with a strong smell of sulfuric acid, soluble in water. The aqueous solution is acidic. When it contacts with strong acid, it releases sulfuric acid and generates the corresponding salts. Keeping in air, it oxidizes to Na2S2O6, so the product cannot be stored for a long time. It is higher than 150 degrees Celsius, that is to decompose sulfuric acid.

Usage:
1) preservative
2) bleaching agent
3) swelling agent

Storage: Store in a cool, dry area and not in direct sunlight. The preferred storage temperature should not exceed 0ºC-40ºC.

Shelf Life: 24 Months.
