Sodium Acetate Trihydrate

Sodium Acetate(Trihydrate) is the sodium salt of acetic acid with a wide range of uses. It appears as a colorless crystalline powder. It soluble in water, moderately soluble in ethanol. CAS#6131-90-4. 

Usage:

Sodium Acetate is used as preservative in meat products, including sausage, ham and so on, usually combinating with other acids, like lactates and propionates. In food products, it is also used as pH modifier, pH buffer and dehydrating agent.
