Mono-Potassium Phosphate is a kind of colorless, odorless crystalline powder. Soluble in water, but insoluble in alcohol. CAS#7778-77-0. Its has wide usages in many areas as below.


Usage:

In the food industry, it is used as leaveing agent, flavoring agent, fermentation additives, nutritional fortifier and yeast food, in wheat flour, beverage, whole eggs for color preservation, low-sodium products, milk products and meat products.

Also used as a buffer, chelating agent.

It is a quality improver, has effects of improving the complexation metal ions and pH value, increasing the ionic strength of food, improving the adhesion and water holding capacity of food.
