Potassium Acetate
It is the potassium salt of acetic acid, appears white powder, soluble in water and alcohol. CAS#127-08-2.
Usage:
It is used as an analytical reagent, dehydrating agent.
In food industry, it is used as a food additive, an acidity regulator and preservative.
In manufacturing industry, it is used in the manufacture of glass, a softening agent for paper and textiles.
In medicine, it is used as an expectorant and diuretic.
