Sodium Pyrophosphate Decahydrate(TSPP Decahy), CAS#7722-88-5, it is an odorless, white crystalline powder, soluble in water, but insoluble in ethyl alcohol.
It is widely used as food additive.
Usage:
Sodium Pyrophosphate Decahydrate(TSPP Decahy), it is used in water softener, buffering agent, thickening agent, dispersing agent.
In food production, it is widely used in cheese, chicken nuggets, marshmallows, pudding, carb meat, canned tuna and soy-based meat alternatives, also used in pet food.
It also acts as a tartar control agent in toothpaste and dental floss. In addition, it is used as a chelating agent in antimicrobial studies.
