Calcium Hydroxide

Characters:  It is white powder, possessing an alkaline, slightly bitter taste. 1 g dissolves in 630mL of water at 25ºC, and in 1300mL of boiling water. It is soluble in glycerin and in a saturated solution of sucrose, but is insoluble in alcohol.

Usage:
1)neutralizing agent
2)used as rubber, petroleum industry additive
3) used in lubricating oil to prevent coking
4)mud deposition

Storage: Store in a cool, dry area and not in direct sunlight. The preferred storage temperature should not exceed 0ºC-40ºC.

Shelf Life: 24 Months.
