It occurs as a white, odorless, tasteless powder that is stable in air. It is practically insoluble in water and alcohol, but is readily soluble in dilute hydrochloric and nitric acids. CAS#7758-87-4.
The Particle Size of Tri-Calcium Phosphate Light is at 1000-3000mesh.
Usage:
It is widely used in food productions: Leavening Agent, Dough Conditioner, Nutrient, Mineral Supplement, Yeast Food.
It is used as an anti-caking agent in table salt and drying vinegar. It functions as a bleaching agent in flour and in lard, and prevents undesirable coloring and improves stability for frying. As a buffer to control pH.
It is a dietary supplement of calcium and phosphorus, both in human food and animal feed.
Other applications are in oral pharmaceutical products and dental products.
